It is also easy to use and set up. Its ability to restart where it left off during our tests is an additional impressive feature. It did this for 77 minutes on one cleaning, and then the battery ran out.

The i3+ EVO, unlike some of the other robot vacuums we have tested, has a self emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris into an external dirt compartment located on its charging base when it is fully filled. The i3+ EVO can be prevented from overfilling with a self-emptying bin. However it must be manually emptied at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's internal dust bin holds 2.4L of trash and is enough to get it through several cleaning sessions before you need to replace it.

This model, like the i7, utilizes state-of-the-art floor-tracking sensors to create maps. It also lets you navigate through neat rows. However, the i3+ EVO only stores one map, whereas the i7 can store multiple. The i7 also has the ability to use its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO can't.

The i3+ EVO is more effective of picking up surface debris compared to some other robovacs that we have looked at, but it's not the best in cleaning corners and edges. It's also not as gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It was quite rough on furniture as it pushed chairs away. It also made some collisions with the sides of the test bed.

2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro

If you're looking to increase your collection of robot vacuums, or are just starting out with the Q5 Pro is a great option. It features an elegant design with a powerful navigation system, as well as efficient automation at a low price. It's the best pound-for-pound model currently available and even beats some of Roborock's much pricier models in many ways.

This robot is fantastic in cleaning floors that are bare and its avoidance technology assists it in staying away from furniture legs and other obstacles. The Q5 Pro's 240 minute running time is also impressive when compared to other 2-in-1 robots that we tested. If the battery is low, it will automatically return to its dock, where it recharges and resumes cleaning where it was when it stopped. This model utilizes an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map your home and create efficient cleaning routes. The iMop awed us with its analysis of coverage and navigation efficiency and was also efficient in eliminating obstacles, like furniture. It is also able to find its way to the base station if it is unable to recharge its batteries during cleaning.

It also has a spot cleaning mode that lets you to mop or clean an area of your floor. It can also be programmed to follow a specific route, which is helpful for narrow hallways or stairs. In our carpet cleaning test it did a good job cleaning carpets. However, it struggled to clean carpets and rugs with longer piles. It is able to lift the mop pad automatically whenever it comes into contact with carpet. This is a great option for those looking to avoid having to mop their carpets.
